Government 2.0 Camp Venue Announcement!
Posted on 10. Mar, 2009 by corbett3000 in Blog, Government 2.0 Camp Day 1

After months of searching for a terrific, non-corporate feeling venue we’ve secured the Duke Ellington School of Arts in Georgetown for Government 2.0 Camp (Maxine Teller deserves huge praise on this one).
It’s not ideal from a transportation perspective (no metro access), but DC’s venues are busy these days and we needed to weigh all variables. We’ll provide a comprehensive travel guide shortly.
Those of you on the waiting list, we will be able to let about 50-100 folks in by next week or so and you’ll get another email about that. If you want to guarantee your attendance, please consider sponsoring, as our costs are substantial on this event and we could use the help.
Watch the video: If you’re unclear about what the format of this un-conference will be please watch the Pre-Camp Field Guide Video here:

See you soon and more to come!

Sounds like it will be a great event. Wish I had learned of it sooner. Glad to learn about Government 2.0 Club!

Will there be parking available at this location, since it isn’t metro accessible? The travel guide might have been posted somewhere, but i missed it. Thanks for pulling this together!

It’s very accessible. It’s the 32 bus from the Navy Memorial/Archives station. It’s about a 30 minute bus ride from Navy memorial station on the Green Line.
